We at Reishunger are a colorful bunch of rice maniacs who are all about the rice grain. Because rice comes in all colors, shapes and tastes – from white, long and sweet to black, round and tart. Because that’s the case, we’ve thought of offering the whole rice variety of the world on reishunger.de.
A new kind of instant ramen. One that’s rich in flavour, but doesn’t fry its noodles in oil, use artificial ingredients or lack nutrition. To do this, their approach was simple. First, strip away the junk usually associated with “instant” – and leave the natural ingredients to do their thing. Then, gradually add seasoning to achieve that characteristic, rich umami taste. In the process, the Founder discovered that healthy and delicious weren’t as diametrically opposed as she had imagined—they actually make excellent bedfellows. The result is a ramen full of delicious complexity, yet easy to prepare. A ramen inspired by heritage, but made for today. Tradition now turned into nutrition.
